Lately, i've been slacking. I have so many things I don't do that is of importance. I'm not a perfect christain, far from it. Im quiet and nice and kind, but im kinda in the middle, not hot, not cold. the Bible makes it perfectly clear in Revelation 3:16: "So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth." . That is one of my fears, I know I can get beyond that, but I feel like im often lukewarm.. I love Jesus with my whole heart, but I don't act or think like it.BUT tonight is a new night, tommorow is a new day. It's time to do more: Love more, stand up more, fight more, live more, die to self more. It's time for more of Jesus. more time spent at His feet. More time spent in the Holy of Holies. More time spent in the gap for others. I don't just need to read the Bible more, I need to need it in order to survive. It has to become my heart, without it, I will die. It needs to become my breathe, something I can't live without. It needs to become my voice, speaking life not death. I'm not claiming to be just a Christian anymore, i'm claiming to be so madly and deeply in love with God, that I am on a constant chase after Him, running as hard as I can to get to Him, only to realize He's chasing me. I can't sleep until I hear Him, I can't be awake without knowing He's there, I can't move without Him guiding my steps, I can't go on witout His heart beating in me. I am nothing without Him, but im EVERYTHING with Him. I want His thoughts to be constantly in my head, thoughts of life, of hope, whatever is noble and praiseworthy (Phil. 4:8). If it is not excellent, not true, not right, not pure, not lovely, not admirable; it wil be taken captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 10:5). God has high standards. It's time to make mine higher, closer to His. It's time to fight for purity, wholeness, Life. Love is a verb, an action. Love demands more than just a feeling, it demands everything. Love is obedience. Love is God. God is Love. Love needs to be displayed in everything I do, everything I say, everything I am. Love is the reason. Love is the answer. It's time, time for more. More of Jesus. The only way this world will change is by Jesus, through us. Not only am I going to do more... i'm calling who ever is reading this to do more. Regardless of who you are, what you believe, even if you are a Christian or not, it's time for a love MOVEment. Want more peace in the world, be peaceful. Want more love, be love. If you want more Jesus in the world, be Jesus... If we do simple things, little things even, if EVERYONE did, because of love, with love, then we can have an impact. But you have to know what the definition of Love is. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a). Love wins.I am going to do more, starting now... because it's not about me anymore, it's about Him.

Really?

Did 2 months really go by. Yikes.. I like blogs, but my updating skills aren't to par. Well I've been primarily updating my other blog 31 Things more... Maybe I should have just one blog, but I think I will keep what I have, and add more... Actually i've been thinking lately about doing something more than my current job. I really want to be self employeed, so Im starting a business... or 2.. Im going to work on both as much as possible, and im super excited about both. I'll share more once I get them started and well made. Don't worry I won't forget about this blog, even if 2 more months go by which is Decemember... wow it's coming quick.. :)

Divine Romance was the first song I listened too and I instantly love it!
Heaven and Earth is the new album and I definately recommend at the least listening too.
And he seems like a pretty fun guy

Early Bird ?

Hey! I think this is the earliest i've ever posted on here. I'm just waiting for my curling iron to heat up (it only takes like 90 seconds, this post will take like 10 minutes). Well, I was planning things out last night til I fell asleep, and I think I came up with some stuff... which i'll explain later because the curling iron is atlast ready {5 mins ago ;) } and I have to do some stuff today like: returns, looking at couches and beds, and laundry, clean the apt., decorate alittle or paint, we need to paint.. so I must be going, but check back later today for a new feature post of this guy:

Hello.

Hello. Sorry it's been awhile. Life has kind of been busy. But I would like to keep up with this way more, make it a daily thing. Or atleast a couple of days a week. I promise (not like the same kind of promise I make in reguards to doing the dishes or clearing off the diningroom table of my scrapbook things, I will really do this one :) ) to consistly update this, and plan it out more. Look for lots of new features and some things that I think are cool. In the next post i'll start one of the features and give details on what's to come! Well since this isn't a real post, i'll do something extra better. Well it was lovely chatting to you tonight.

Jealousy

Good Evening!
Today, well more yesterday, I was thinking about a song:


It completely surprises me (in a good way) that He is jealous for me (and you). That is huge. He loves us that much. He want first place in our lives. He is interested in every aspect of our lives. It's ok to like things and do things as long as God is first.
"He is jealous for me, loves like a hurricane..."
It's sometimes hard to believe how much He does love. I think a Hurricane sums it up pretty well. His love will never leave us the same. It sometimes shakes us up, messes things up, brings us back together, surrounds us, covers us, pursues us. I just stand in awe of this.

Obsession

Hello All!
How was your tuesday? Here in Michigan is was alittle chilly, but beautiful outside, nice and sunny. I spent most of it inside at work, but it looked nice, haha.

Well continuing with the previous post, i'm completely obsessed with the 1950's lately. Especially 'I Love Lucy', but i've been checking into the fashion of the 1950's and here are my picks for the best dresses:

Beautiful and Brilliant

Hey! Sorry I haven't been keeping up with this blog. its been a busy few months. But I promise I will update lots more. For this post I want to share something im completely fasinated with currently: Old Hollywood. Especially actresses of the 1940's and 1950's. I'll share more on this later, but I just want to share some picture of actresses i'm currently loving at the moment:

I'm slighly obsessed with 'I Love Lucy' right now. Both Lucille and Vivian are completely beautiful and brilliant actresses. Very classic. Well i have to go to bed now, but i'll post more tommorow.

Different Route

This blog started as my journey of waiting, but I think I would like to take a different route, it will be about my life in general, just my personal blog. It will involve the wait, single life, apartment life, fashion, art, crafts, just about anything i'm interested in. I hope to make this is atleast twice a week blog, but daily would be awesome. Soon i'll go into more detail of who I am, but for my a brief introduction. My name is Jennifer. I'm soon to be 26. I live in an apartment with 3 other girls. I dream of becoming a self-employeed business owner, and a ford fusion owner, and a house on Lake Michigan owner, and a.... well there's a lot im dreaming of. I am single and waiting and will wait till the right guy comes into my life, in God's perfect timing. I also love the smell of lilacs. I guess that was somewhat brief. I do promise lots of pictures, lots of fun stuff, and some usefull stuff as well in the post to come. I'm pretty excited about this new blog and I can't wait to develope it into something way rad. But for now I must go to the bed, because I'm not self employee yet and have to be at my job early tommorow morning.
