Something New and Something Kinda Random

Wow, my last post was like a few months ago, yikes!
Well, Hi everybody! Sorry it's been so long. I've been working more on a new business!!! Wanna know what it is???
JAMBERRY!!!!

What is Jamberry, you ask? It's an awesome nail wrap product. They last about 2 weeks (and maybe longer)! The above photo is my first manicure using Jamberry. What sold me on them is they don't chip. I've tried other wraps and i'm a nail polish addict. I tried the Sally Hansen gel wraps and they did chip by day 2 and didn't look so great at the end of the week, but I loved that they did last longer and looked nicer than polish. So when I was introduced to Jamberry and tried them, I was hooked!

I have become an independent consultant at the end of May and I love the business so far. Now just to make some things a little clearer- this is my blog, however I don't want to be like a crazy sales person. I won't post about Jamberry all the time, though I do want to post about it for business ideas, advice, or what i've learned. Also I want to share my nails! I won't post anything on this blog that I personally haven't tried and don't believe it's a good product or I just don't like it. I may review some things and give my opinions in feature post. But yeah, this won't become a Jamberry blog (unless y'all want that ;)  )

That's pretty much what's new with me... Oh I have an instagram account now. I don't have a lot of pictures yet, but it will grow! so you should check that out, maybe in a few days when I have more than 1 pic on it. And maybe soon, when I get the courage I will post a youtube video soon. If I do add youtube videos to the blog, what would you guys like to see? Please let me know! I'm kinda clueless on what to make a video about... do you want to see a diy project? a what's in my bag video? a tag? or maybe do a vlog sometimes like once a week?

Hello, Again!

Hello! It's been so long! Well, I have some tremendous news... I'm officially a home owner!!! I'm sooo excited to be living in it. I love my house! Also, i've been thinking about this blog and the content, and I have decided that I am just going to be me. Not that I haven't been me, but i've been a follower to an extent. I imagine i'm not the only one in the blog world, but I found a blog a love and started reading, and it shaped what I decided to post on, well... not anymore.. so much. I mean I might post similar stuff like pinterest picks, favorite products, diys (of originality, not copying :)  ), and etc. Also i'm going to keep posting my usual stuff- finances, music, my life, and etc. I'm also going to start posting about my favorite subject, my need and love for my savior, Jesus! I can't shy away from it, He is my life. I won't be overly churchy though, don't worry. I just want to be me!
Also, the blog re-design is going well,  i'm still working on a few things for it. I would like to keep it simple.
Well, I guess that's all for now. I'm going to dream up some plans for my new house.
OH and my house hunting story will be one of my next post, I love talking about houses and want to share my experience, any advice I have, and things i've learned!

She's Crafty

I like all kinds of music, I know this isn't monday, but I heard this song for the first time today by the Beastie Boys. I'm familiar with a few of their songs, Sabotage is my fav of theirs (the video mostly). Well I was thinking this new (new to me, its from 1986)song could be my theme song, but it's a different kinda crafty. I'll just pretend the lyrics aren't what they are and it's about the arts and crafts crafty.. haha.. here it is. Some vintage Beastie Boys with She's Crafty-

So this is Christmas... Soon!

I love Christmas. It's the best season! Right now i'm watching "She's Crafty" a Canadian hgtv show, holiday edition. Love this show, so many good ideas. I can't help to make all the projects. I'm also starting to decorate the Christmas tree, and then I got an idea for diy ornaments, if they turn out I will post about it. I got the idea to use pictures, so i'm looking up the Beatles. And came across this photo:

Before I Die....

Hey! Since I last posted I was having a dream identity crisis. Well glad to say crisis adverted. But I did discover I have business a.d.d. So i'm going to be spending some time thinking, planing, praying, and maybe in a week or two I will know what to pursue!
I am currently working on restyling an ottoman, but it will take some time so I will post the entire project soon. I can't wait to work on it more! I guess that's it for minor updates. I read a blog post about a wall with a title 'Before I die_______' and I thought I would do a small post about it. You can read more on Leigh-Ann's blog Freckled Nest.
So
Before I die:
-I want to be found by the one and get married.
-Have kids
-Own a successful business
-Retire before i'm 50
-Buy a house
-Quit my job
-Travel
-Go on a date
-Get a puppy
-Own a house on the beach
-Be content with who I am
-Be all who God called and created me to be.
-Keep things Simple.
-Make a bucket list.

P.S. Does anyone watch Survivor? This is my second season that i've watched so far. And I haven't missed an episode til tonight. And I heard sad news- Ozzy was voted out :(   There is alway redemption though. Can't wait to watch it online tomorrow. Very thankful for internet tv!!!
